Your day with us

Meet our driver at your hotel lobby. After about one hour of driving, you will arrive at Zhujiajiao Water Village and start your exciting sightseeing tour from this 1700-year-old water town. Take a relaxing boat ride through the town, discover its picturesque canals, rivers and the large Dian Shan Lake. Take the opportunity to shop, stroll and explore this beautiful village with a relaxing boat ride — you can even practice your bargaining skills at the local shops. Try some local snacks or have a nice lunch in a local restaurant beside the canal before we depart for the highlights of Shanghai.

In the afternoon, you will visit Yu Garden, a classic creation of the Ming dynasty, and the ancient Shanghai Old Street, which originated in the Qing dynasty (entrance fee: 30 RMB in lower season, 40 RMB in high season). Yu Garden is the most famous garden in Shanghai, located in the heart of Shanghai's Old City — one of the few old tourist places in the city. Close to the gardens is Shanghai's bazaar, a great number of small streets and lanes where vendors sell their products and food to tourists and locals alike.

Continue to the Bund, Shanghai's picturesque waterfront, well known as the International Architecture Exhibition for its spectacular soaring skyline. From here, enjoy sweeping views of both sides of the Huangpu River. The Bund was first used when the first British company opened an office there in 1846 and is now surrounded by about 50 buildings of different architectural styles — Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.
